Volland's Art Lover's Chicago Series
by
Miles W. Sater

Miles W. Sater, a Chicago newspaper artist of considerable reputation in his day, was employed by the P. F. Volland Company to create twelve pictures that would be used for a series of post cards called Art Lovers' Chicago. The set was published in 1914.
Today these cards are fairly rare and sell, on average for $4.00 to $10.00.
Some research has been done on Miles K. Sater, with little result. If you have any knowledge of the artist, it would be greatly appreciated if you would contact the webmaster via the e-mail address at the bottom of the Lockkeeper.com home page.             Thank you.
